It has been reported that the final of the IPL series will start 30 minutes late.
The 15th season of the IPL, which started on March 26, has now reached its final stage. With 67 league matches over, there are only 3 matches left. Chennai and Mumbai, the two champions of the IPL, have been eliminated from the play-off race. Meanwhile, Gujarat and Lucknow, who made their debut this year, have reached the top two in the standings and qualified for the play-off round.
This is followed by Rajasthan in 3rd place. The team's playoff chances are almost certain. Rajasthan will be ranked 3rd or 4th depending on their win or loss against CSK today (20.05.2022).
Meanwhile, the run rate is declining despite Bangalore team being in 4th position with 16 points. Therefore, if the Delhi team wins tomorrow's match between Delhi and Mumbai, Bangalore will be eliminated from the play - offs. If Delhi loses, Bangalore will have a chance to advance to the play - offs.
The play-offs will be played at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata and the final will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. In this case, the BCCI has changed the start time of the final to be held on the 29th.
The match, which usually starts at 7.30 pm, has been rescheduled by the BCCI to 8 pm. A grand concert with cinema celebrities is scheduled to take place at around 6.30 pm before the finals. So the toss will be at 7.30 pm after the show and then the final will start at 8 pm.
The 8th Behindwoods Gold Medals Awards will be held this year on May 21 and 22 at the Island Ground in Chennai Island from 6pm to 11.30pm. Ticket booking for this is currently underway.
