During the ongoing 86th season of the Ranji Trophy, all-rounder Yusuf Pathan got furious on the field and showed dissent to the umpire after being ruled out. The match was between Baroda and Mumbai and took place in Gujarat's Vadodara city.
The incident happened when Yusuf Pathan refused to walk off the field after being given out by the on-field umpire. It was Baroda's second innings when Shashank Attarde came into bowl in the 48th over.
As Attarde delivered a forward defensive shot from Yusuf Pathan it went straight to the short leg fielder Jay Gokul Bista. Seconds later, the umpire raised his finger, ruling Pathan out.
With the unexpected result, Pathan refused to walk off the field. He also waved his hands towards the umpire in disappointment.
After being convinced for few minutes by Mumbai's senior player Ajinkya Rahane, Pathan walked back with his head still not agreeing to the result.
By end of the match, Mumbai won it and registered themselves all six points, while Baroda are point-less after them.
