India clashed with Pakistan in Guyana in the Group B match of the ICC Women's World T20 on Sunday and emerged as the victors. ODI and Test Captain Mithali Raj registered her 16th fifty in T20I cricket.
However, Skipper Harmanpreet Kaur ended up grabbing the headlines for a very noble reason. Before the match, both the teams stood before their mascots for the national anthem. However, the girl escorting Kaur fell ill.
Noticing the girl's ill health, Kaur immediately carried the girl after the national anthem and handed her over to the management. Kaur's warm act was caught on camera, the video of which went viral on social media.
