October 27, which was a Sunday, just got better for Australian star batsman David Warner, who was playing against Sri Lanka in the first of the three T20Is.
Warner, who was celebrating his 33rd birthday on Sunday also made his first international game at home ground after serving the one-year ban. He made the match a remarkable one by scoring his first T20I hundred.
David Warner scored his hundred on the last ball of the innings and also remained unbeaten with hundred off 56 balls. Also, before leaving the field he made a winning gesture for his fans while walking up to the pavilion.
While heading towards the dressing room, the star cricketer dropped his gloves into a child's bucket who was excitedly waiting to see him pass by. This kind gesture left the fan shocked and surprised.
As soon as the video went viral, fans in large numbers applauded him for his gesture and wished him on his lucky day.
Talking about the match, Sri Lanka ended up with scoring only 99 for 9 and faced a heavy defeat. This was Australia's biggest win in T20I cricket.
