In the match, Sri Lanka got out for 171 in 19.1 overs after West Indies fast bowler Oshane Thomas registered his careers best bowling figures of 3-0-28-5. By the end of the match, West Indies defeated Sri Lanka by 25 runs with an unassailable 1-0 lead in the two-match series.
As the match took pace, Hasaranga, who scored 44 runs in 34 balls amazed the crowd after he went off the pitch to hit a delivery from West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo over the off-side. His hard and unique effort could only give him a run. But the ball being hit from outside the pitch is worth-watching!
Talking about the match, West Indies captain Kieron Pollard won the toss and chose to bat, they scored a formidable 196/4 in 20 overs. Despite losing the match, Wanindu Hasaranga amazed the crowd with his unusual hit against Dwayne Bravo. Watch the video below:
