In the third ODI against West Indies, Kohli was struck by Kemar Roach's bouncer. He looked visibly in pain after injuring his right thumb.
Kohli on Thursday provided an update on his injury. Though he got hit, he went on to score 114 to help India win the match. But there were concerns over his health after he looked visibly in pain.
Kohli gave an update saying he will be fit for the test match. He said, "I don't think it's a fracture otherwise I wouldn't have continued (batting). It's just a split of the nail."
"Luckily, it's not broken. When I got hit I thought it was worse than what it turned out to be. But it's not broken so I should be good for the first Test," he said.
