According to reports, a single bat used by Indian skipper Virat Kohli is said to have cost over Rs 20,000. The Grade A English Willow bat that the Kohli uses has grains between 8 to 12, and its price ranges from Rs 17,000 to Rs 23,000. Notably, a bat’s quality and its price are determined by the number of grains present on its surface, with a grain range of 6 and 12 is considered to be of high quality. Interestingly, the MRF logo that Kohli sports on his willow has reportedly earned him a record contract of Rs 8 crore.
