We all know that Virat Kohli turned a vegan to maintain his fitness levels. In a recent interview to NDTV, Virat Kohli spoke about how he continues to be a foodie despite his food preferences changing over years. Just like us, Virat Kohli grew up eating "rajma-chaal, butter chicken and naan etc..."
"I've been a foodie since I was a kid, I loved trying foods, used to eat a lot of junk bag then. But then I started travelling and trying different cuisines but yeah I love food....love having well cooked food," Kohli was quoted as saying by NDTV.
The 31-year-old India captain, however, has not tried his hand at cooking. But, it will be something that will interest him after his retirement from cricket.
"I do not (cook) but I understand flavour, I understand how well a dish is cooked, so can potentially learn it. When I'm done with playing cricket I think cooking is something, I would definitely be interested in."
Kohli had been rested from the just concluded T20I series against Bangladesh. During his break, he celebrated his 31st birthday with wife Anushka Sharma in Bhutan.
