DETAILS LISTED! VIRAT KOHLI AMONG MOST VALUABLE ATHLETES ON TWITTER; EARNS HUGE AMOUNT FOR EVERY TWEET

Days after touching another landmark on Instagram, Team India skipper and captain Virat Kohli has a new reason to hit headlines again. He has achieved a new feat on the microblogging after being in the list of most valuable athletes on Twitter. 

According to an article from sports website Bleacher Report, Kohli is the fifth most valuable athlete on Twitter. He gets paid $350,101 per tweet (approximately about INR 2.5 crore). Meanwhile, football icon Cristiano Ronaldo leads the list with $868,604 for each tweet (approximately about INR 6 crore).

Others to join the list are, football players Andres Iniesta and Neymar Jr, who come 2nd and 3rd and earn $590,825 and $478,138  per tweet respectively. Talking about the four place- Basketball legend LeBron James gets paid $470,356 for each tweet, Bleacher Report further added. 

Highlighting about the 31-year-old, who has now become a global icon is also an idol figure to the youth and budding cricketers. 

Kohli had also become the first person from India to have 50 million followers on the micro-picture blogging website – Instagram. Currently, he is busy playing the Test series against New Zealand at their home ground.
