WATCH | SKIPPER VIRAT KOHLI HAD A HILARIOUS REACTION AFTER TAKING A RARE WICKET

Indian skipper Virat Kohli is excellent with the bat and on the field too. But when it comes to bowling, Kohli is not one to shine. However, he decided to try his hand at bowling during India's four-day warm-up match against Cricket Australia XI at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

On the third day, he bowled two overs as other bowlers failed to make an impact. The Indian skipper was finally rewarded on the final day of the match as he dismissed South Australian wicketkeeper-batsman Harry Nielsen.

The left-handed batsman tried to loft Kohli over on-side but ended up giving a simple catch to Umesh Yadav at mid-on. But the celebration is what caught the eye of all! Kohli looked momentarily stunned with a big smile on his face. He then celebrated wildly, pumping his fists in the air and high-fiving his teammates.

Career wise, Kohli has eight wickets to his name in international cricket and Johnson Charles was his last victim during a World T20 match against the Windies in 2016. However, Kohli's wicket of Nielsen will not be counted anywhere as this is not a first-class match.

Meanwhile, the Indian bowlers finally managed to dismiss Cricket Australia XI on a score of 544, which ended up with a lead of 186 runs. Indian bowlers haven't been able to put pressure on the home batsmen and their form is a worry for the visitors going into the first Test that starts next week in Adelaide.
