India captain Virat Kohli, on the third day of the third Test against South Africa on Friday, surpassed the former captain MS Dhoni’s record for most Test runs as India captain. Kohli, who scored 41 runs on the third day of Test, has achieved the feat in only 35 Tests (57 innings). Meanwhile, Dhoni had scored 3,454 runs as captain in 60 Tests (96 innings).
