VIDEO: VIRAT KOHLI GETS ANGRY, HITS BACK AT JOURNALIST WHEN ASKED ABOUT HIS AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOUR ON FIELD
Home > News Shots > SportsAfter the second Test match between New Zealand and India, Team India captain and skipper Virat Kohli rudely snapped at a journalist in the post-match press conference.
Virat was asked about his animated and aggressive celebration on the field after Kane Williamson’s dismissal video went viral.
During the press conference, a question was asked by one of the New Zealand journalists about Virat swearing on the field at Hagley Oval in Christchurch. The reporter asked, "Virat, what is your reaction to your behaviour on the field, swearing at Williamson when he got out, swearing at the crowd. As an Indian captain, don’t you think you should set a better example on the field?"
To which Virat said, "What do you think? I am asking you for the answer. You need to find out exactly what happened and come up with better questions. You can’t come here with half questions or half details of what happened. And also, if you want to create controversy, this is not the right place. I had spoken to the match referee. He had no issues with what happened. Thank You." said angry Kohli.
Meanwhile, when New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson was asked about the same incident in the press conference. He responded saying, “It is Virat and he is passionate on the field. I don’t think we need to read too much into it."
This was not the only incident which took place on the field; during the match on-field umpire warned Indian fielders for creating confusion for Kiwi batsmen. Watch video of Virat below:
