It was a disappointing innings for the India all-rounder, Vijay Shankar, after he hit only 17 runs out of 19 balls in the finals of Nidahas Trophy on Sunday. The cricketer accepted that he felt disheartened at the way things had turned and reportedly said, "It was an off-day for me, but I am finding it difficult to forget. I know I need to move on. I had a good tournament until that final day." Vijay also stated that he has to accept that such things can happen when playing for a big team like India and mentioned that it was all part of growing up. The cricketer said, "When everyone was rejoicing after the final, I was feeling very disheartened at how things panned out. It was an opportunity given to me to become a hero. I should have finished the match." According to reports, Vijay is seemingly positive and is looking forward to do well for Delhi Daredevils in the upcoming IPL.
