Players from the Bangladesh and Sri Lanka cricket teams were seen having heated exchanges over the umpire’s decision on giving a no-ball during the Thursday’s T20 match in Colombo. With the first ball of the final over being a bouncer, Bangladesh needed 12 runs off 5 balls to win. The second ball was also a bouncer which the Bangladesh players expected to be given a no-ball, but not given. The disappointment made Bangladesh batsman Mahmudullah argue with the main umpire in spite of the square leg umpire signalling a shoulder height no-ball. The match was interrupted for some time after a scuffle broke out. However, the match resumed after a brief halt and Mahmudullah hit the winning runs for Bangladesh with a ball to spare.
