During the recent match between Australia and New Zealand in Perth, Umpire Aleem Dar stole the limelight and grabbed the headlines after an unusual catch. 

A small moment caught between cricketer Steve Smith and Pakistani Umpire Aleem Dar totally made headlines all across the world. In the viral video, the Australian batsman can be seen passing a floppy hat to the umpire, who leaps in the air and catches it in one-handed.  

This video was shared by international media on their social media handle. Minutes later, fans praised the alertness of Dar and his style of taking it. Many even called that video as “gold” or “moment of the day”.
