SUPER SUNDAY! 2 INDIAN TEAMS WILL BE IN ACTION AT THE SAME TIME IN SYDNEY: CHECK DETAILS
Home > News Shots > SportsA big day for Team India fans is on December 6- it will be a Super Sunday as two Indian teams will be in action in Australia at the same time.
Yes, you heard it right...two different teams will be in action at two different venues on the same day.
On Sunday (December 6) and Tuesday (December 8), at one end it will be Virat Kohli, who will be leading Team India during the second and third T20I in Sydney, while on the other it will be Ajinkya Rahane, who will lead with another Indian team elsewhere in Sydney in a three day game from December 6 to 8 against an Australian XI.
As per Cricket Addictor report, two days of warm-up game will coincide with Team India’s fixtures against Australia.
Meanwhile, for the India A game, Test specialists like Prithvi Shaw, Cheteshwar Pujara, Hanuma Vihari, Wriddhiman Saha (wicket-keeper), Rishabh Pant (wicket-keeper), R Ashwin, Kuldeep Yadav and Mohammed Siraj will be on the field who are not part of the XI in the T20Is.
However, players will be preparing themselves for the upcoming four-match Test series against Australia which begins on December 17. So far, most of the Test specialists have not played a single match in Australia while the other players have been busy in the white-ball series.
Looking into the pink ball contest, Team India will also begin the tour game from December 11 to 13, which is also in Sydney.
Fans would be sad to know that Team India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has been ruled out of the ongoing T20I series due to a concussion case after he was struck in the head while batting in the first game on Friday.
Not just that Jadeja also suffered a hamstring injury and was seen struggling on his feet. Currently, he has been replaced by fast-bowler Shardul Thakur.
