In the wake of the deadly Pulwama Terror Attack, uncertainty over whether India should play against Pakistan in the 2019 World Cup has arisen. With the match scheduled to take place on June 16 in Manchester, many cricketers have voiced out that India should not play.
However, it seems that Sachin Tendulkar has different opinions. Tendulkar stated that India should play against Pakistan and best them. He said that he would personally hate to see two points given away to Pakistan if India boycotts the match.
Tendulkar tweeted, "India has always come up trumps against Pakistan in the World Cup. Time to beat them once again. Would personally hate to give them two points and help them in the tournament." He also added, "Having said that, for me India always comes first, so whatever my country decides, I will back that decision with all my heart."
