After Indian women cricket team lost to England by nine runs in the Women’s World Cup final on Sunday, captain Mithali Raj has reportedly said that this is the right time for creating women’s IPL. Raj said Women’s Big Bash League helped Smriti Mandhana and Harmanpreet Kaur immensely. Further, she added, “If you ask me they should have IPL because now is the right time to create that base. Women's cricket is everywhere and they have put up a much better standard than the last World Cup.”
