In a pre-season T10 clash held in Dubai between two England county teams, Surrey and Lancashire, Will Jacks, a 20-year-old Surrey player smashed a 25 ball century that included six sixes in an over of Stephen Parry.
He ended up with 105 of just 25 balls and taking his team to a massive total of 176. Surrey then went on to win the game by 95 runs. Unfortunately for Will Jacks, he will not hold the record for the fastest hundred in spite of beating Chris Gayle by 5 balls since this was not an official game. Hence, Chris Gayle still holds the record for the fastest hundred when he got it off just 30 balls for RCB against the Pune Warriors in the IPL 2013. This would have also officially beaten Alex Hales's T10 record of 87, which still remains the highest individual T10 score.
To look back at this point, other players who have hit six sixes in an over are Sir Garfield Sobers, Ravi Shastri, Herschelle Gibbs, Yuvraj Singh, and Jordan Clark.
