SURESH RAINA IN SUPERFORM, SCORES A QUICK 50 FOR CSK

Chennai Super Kings undoubtedly has the biggest and loyal fan base. In spite of coming back to IPL last year after a two-year suspension, they just played one game at Chennai which was a huge disappointment. But now they are back again and are expected to play all their home games at Chennai and the fans are ecstatic about it. A glimpse of this excitement was seen during the practice game with almost 12000 fans turning up.

Fans not only got to see their favorite players back in action but had the added treat of watching Suresh Raina in full flow. He smashed an entertaining 56 of just 29 deliveries included 6 maximums. He showcased some of his trademarks lofts over extra cover and also his favorite slow sweep of Karn Sharma which landed amongst the fans.

Apart from this, there were other contributors as well with Murali Vijay getting off to a decent start, Ambati Rayudu getting a quick 40 and young Dhruv Shorey finishing off with a powerful 43, in the end, taking the team to a total of 199 in the 20 overs. The bowlers had a moderate outing as well with Shradul Thakur picking up two wickets followed by Deepak Chahar and Harbhajan Singh and Karn Sharma who took one wicket each.
