During the ongoing Mzansi Super League (MSL), Isuru Udana grabbed the limelight for his example of sportsmanship. He refused to run-out an injured player during the match despite having a lot of time.

The match was being played between Nelson Mandela Bay Giants and Paarl Rocks.

During the match, the Giants needed 24 runs to win with last 8 balls against Paarl Rock, when cricketer Heino Kuhn tried for a big hit but it just went close and hit his teammate Marco Marais.

The ball accidentally hit Marais very badly that left him in pain and he could not run to his crease properly. Bowler Udana, who seen him in pain on the field decided to not take the advantage to run him out but went back to his mark for the next delivery.

The video was instantly posted by MSL's official Twitter account with a caption “Spirit of cricket Raise your hand for more moments like this! Always!” Highlighting more about the match, after Marias got a lifeline; he slammed a six to bring the Giants close to a victory.
