SRH lose 3 in a row as Delhi Capitals move 2nd in the table

The Delhi openers both lost their wickets early on, But Colin Munro playing his first game of this season showed positive intent scoring an entertaining 40 off just 24 balls. Captain Iyer played the anchor as he put up a 56 run partnership with Rishabh Pant. Both fell in quick succession which hampered their finish as they ended up 155 runs in the 20 overs.

In return, Bairstow and Warner got a 72 runs opening partnership. Bairstow, in particular, looked to take on the attack as he fell for 41 off 31 balls. David Warner struggled to get going as he was not able to get the boundaries when he wanted to. David Warner trying to catch up with the required rate went for the big shot and fell for 51 from 47 balls when the score was 106. Once again non of the middle order batsman in the SRH line up stood up as they collapsed from 106/3 to 116/10.

Kemo Paul bowled well picking up 3 wickets as Rabada and Morris wrapped up the innings with 4 and 3 wickets respectively.

The Delhi Capitals have always been a good team with a great bowling attack. Unfortunately, their home surface has not suited them, but they are starting to get it together now and are turning out to be a real threat in this tournament. The SRH, on the other hand, have lost 3 in a row now. Their middle order has been a huge concern and they will have to address it quickly to have a chance in this tournament.
