According to reports, SunRisers Hyderabad will be replacing David Warner with Alex Hales for IPL 2018. English opener, Alex Hales was bought by SRH for Rs 1 crore. Sunrisers Hyderabad took to their official Twitter handle to make the announcement.
Former Australia vice-captain David Warner was banned to play for a year by Cricket Australia after getting involved in the ball-tampering scandal. After BCCI also banned Warner from playing in IPL 2018, SunRisers Hyderabad had to replace him. It was previously announced that New Zealand player, Kane Williamson will be captaining the team this season.
