Smriti Mandhana scores fastest T20I fifty for India

Smriti Mandhana on Sunday smashed the fastest fifty by an Indian player in women’s T20I cricket as she hit 50 runs off just 25 balls against England in the third match of the ongoing tri-series. The 21-year-old went on to score 76 off 40 balls on Sunday with 12 fours and two sixes. New Zealand’s Sophie Devine holds the overall record for the fastest fifty in women’s T20Is with a half ton off just 18 balls.
