Ever since Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan was out of the World Cup 2019 squad due to his thumb injury, fans were upset and so much wanted him back in the team before the finals. After being ruled out from the World Cup, an emotional Dhawan took to Twitter and said that "show must go on" without him being at the ongoing World Cup.
Dhawan, who is still recovering from the injury, posted a video of himself batting in the National Cricket Academy nets in Bengaluru. This video of Dhawan has garnered more than 20K likes and hundred of comments as fans were happy to see their favourite star back in the game but this time doing a ‘Bottle Cap Challenge’.
This was earlier performed by former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh who had challenged other cricket players like Sachin Tendulkar, Brian Lara, Chris Gayle and Dhawan. It was on July 8 that Yuvraj Singh had performed the same challenge.
Acting on the same, Dhawan uploaded his video and asked Yuvraj how did he perform to which he said "Shot eh jatt ji 👌🏼" Take a look at Shikhar Dhawan’s video of bottle cap challenge below:
