India beat Australia to tie the three-match T20I series. Opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan celebrated his final match on Australian soil this year with a quickfire knock of 41 off 22. In a must-win game for the 'Men in Blue', the visitors did the task to perfection by keeping Australia away from a series win.
Dhawan was the star of the series with the bat as he scored 117 runs in two innings that he played. The left-handed batsman was also rewarded for his effort with the Player of the Series award.
Known for his crazy antics, Dhawan decided to bring some 'oomph' to the presentation ceremony. As Dhawan walked on to the stage to collect his award, he first lifted the boy on the stage in his arms and also did a thigh five in response to the cheering spectators.
"I guess, they love me a lot. Now I will make them cheer more. I enjoy entertaining people and I enjoy playing entertaining cricket. People enjoyed watching good cricket out there. Yeah, absolutely [feels like being in India]. It's tremendous to see this kind of support. It's good that stadium was full. It's lovely. I am sure that all the Indian supporters out there are going to support us during the Test series. We're going to do well there as well," he said while receiving the award.

In terms of the tour of Australia, Dhawan will now return to India with the players who are not a part of the Test series that starts on December 6.
