The game between Islamabad United and Karachi Kings took to headlines after Islamabad United captain Shadab Khan got furious and scolded his teammate Rizwan Hussain for not throwing at the striker’s end.
The incident happened during the fourth delivery when Karachi Kings batsman Iftikhar Ahmed was at the striker's end. He played a delivery from Shadab Khan and called for a single.
With a slight hesitation between Ahmed and Kings wicket-keeper batsman Chadwick Walton, Shadab Khan expected point fielder Hussain to throw the ball at the striker’s end. During the chase, it was unclear if Shadab Khan wanted to get Walton out at that moment. Soon after which, he shouted at Hussain for throwing at the wrong end.
But an unforgettable and hilarious moment left Shadab Khan shocked when Hussain’s direct-hit at the non-striker’s end took Ahmed's wicket as he was short of his crease.
Talking about the game, Karachi won the match after chasing a 184-run target. Islamabad scored 183/3 after Wasim won the toss and chose to field. Meanwhile, watch the video below:
