In the match against RCB, Russell's heroic 65 off just 25 balls got KKR extremely closer than they should have but still ended up losing by 10 runs.

After the match, when asked if he should have batted at number 4, he said yes but gave a funny indication to show he is not supposed to say it.

He then went on to say that it would benefit the team if he goes out to bat early since the opposition would get the best bowlers to bowl against him and hence those best bowlers will not have enough overs to bowl in the death overs.

Also if he goes out to bat early, with the kind of form he is in, he could really win them more games. KKR should consider Russell's idea as they are getting to a must-win situation.
