India may have lost the recent Test series against England but it seems to be a great start for young wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant.
Pant broke records of previous wicketkeepers, including that of MS Dhonis by slamming his maiden century in the fourth innings of a Test. The record was broken on the fifth and final Test against England. Sadly, the feat went unnoticed due to India's 1-4 loss against England.
The record was previously held by MS Dhoni and it was broken by Pant. BCCI tweeted out Pant's achievement and wrote, "Did you know @RishabPant777 is the only Indian wicketkeeper to score a century in the fourth innings of a Test?”
