Being a cricketer could be quite challenging since it involves maintaining fitness and consistency in different playing conditions. Ravichandran Ashwin, though was not included in the World Cup Squad has proved his cricketing skills in England that hosted the ICC World Cup 2019.
R Ashwin has been playing for Nottinghamshire county and as we reported earlier he had even shared the joyous celebration of Stuart Broad during the CWC Finals from Nottinghamshire dressing room.
Reportedly, the 'Carrom ball' expert has delivered his all-round performance in his side’s County Championship Division One match against Surrey at Trent Bridge on Monday. According to the Indian Express, Ashwin took 12 wickets in both innings while conceding 144 runs. On the batting front, Ashwin came up with pleasing 27 runs in the first innings and an unbeaten 66 runs in the second innings.
Interestingly, Ashwin registered his first 10 wicket haul for Nottinghamshire county in the ongoing season. Also, his 12 wicket haul made the total number of count to 23 for Ashwin in the current season. Earlier in the tournament, it was reported that Ashwin took 8 wickets against Somerset and three wickets against Essex. It has to be remembered that the Indian all-rounder is the fastest cricketer to get 300 in the test cricket.
