After RR made 178 runs, Bangalore were off to a flier; all thanks to Devdutt Padikkal and Virat Kohli who carried the innings. Both of them looked at ease playing their shots.
Fans also witnessed another brilliant show from AB de Villiers (55* from 22) who guided Royal Challengers Bangalore over the rope with two balls to spare.
Talking about the dropped catch, it all happened in the fifth ball of the ninth over when Robin Uthappa made Rahul Tewatia furious after dropping Padikkal catch.
The southpaw came up with a big slog-sweep which resulted in a top edge and Devdutt Padikkal was fortunate that it didn’t carry Robin Uthappa. As it dropped a few metres in front of a deep backward square leg fielder.
This totally angered Rahul Tewatia after he bowled three wides in the same over. Rahul, who looked really furious, was caught screaming his lungs out at Robin Uthappa. He also hurled a mouthful to the veteran cricketer.
Minutes after Rahul Tewatia reacted twitter exploded in criticism for being so arrogant and shouted at his teammate. Looking at the current points, Rajasthan Royals is at the 7th position on the points table.
