The Arjuna award selection committee on Thursday referred Paralympic gold medallists Mariyappan Thangavelu and Varun Bhati, cricketers Cheteshwar Pujara and Harmanpreet Kaur, hockey star SV Sunil among 17 other sportspersons for the Arjuna Award this year. Tennis player Saketh Myneni and wrestler Satyawart Kadian, who is Khel Ratna awardee Sakshi Malik's husband, are also among the recommendations for the award, which will be given on August 28.
