The Match between the Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders was the most exciting match of this years IPL so far, with the match going into a nailbiting super over. There have been a number of controversies already in this years IPL and there might just be one more controversy added to the list.
We all know that Rishabh Pant is a real chatterbox behind the stumps who likes to keep passing comments throughout the innings. One such comment that had been caught on stump mic has gone viral amongst fans who are accusing Rishabh Pant of match-fixing.
In the fourth over of the innings, Rishabh Pant was heard saying "yeh to waise bhi chauka hai" which translates to ' this will anyway be a boundary', and immediately the next ball that Sandeep Lamichhane bowled to Uthappa went for a four.
This bizarre coincidence has invoked doubts amongst the fans and has led to many of them openly claiming this to be a match-fixing incident. This could very well be a coincidence but players these days with stump mic on should be slightly more careful when they are making such comments as people may perceive it in the wrong way.
