Home > News Shots > SportsAs the 13th season of Indian Premier League (IPL) is all set to begin, the much talked about cricketer MS Dhoni will also be seen in action after a long break.
Before Dhoni could hit the field, he will soon start training for the IPL from March 2. According to NDTV reports, the Chennai Super Kings captain, will begin his training at the MA Chidambaram Stadium along with other players of the franchise.
"Dhoni will train at the M A Chidambaram stadium from March 2. He will practice with players who are available at that time. The full camp will begin on 19 March when all the players would have joined the squad," CSK CEO KS Viswanathan said in Chennai.
The first match in IPL 2020 begins with CSK locking horns with Mumbai Indians in Mumbai on March 29.
Dhoni is expected to practice for a couple of weeks with Suresh Raina, Ambati Rayudu and others. While, Raina and Rayudu have been training in Chennai for the past few weeks. Meanwhile, Dhoni had also begun training with the Jharkhand team some time back, NDTV further reports.
Amid all speculation on Dhoni's career, Dhoni and CSK fans are waiting to see their captain soon. Seems like, last year, nearly 10,000 fans turned up at the Chepauk Stadium to watch the CSK star play a practice match. Will it happen this year too?
