Former India captain MS Dhoni, who currently holds A+ contract will now be missed out from that category. According to reports, BCCI has planned to introduce four categories (A+, A, B, C) for player contracts instead of three (A, B, C). The A+ category is likely to be given to players who represent India in all three formats. Currently, 'A' category players are being paid Rs 2 crore and 'B', 'C' contracts are being paid Rs 1 crore and Rs 50 lakh per year respectively.
