MS Dhoni becomes first Indian wicketkeeper to take 300 catches in ODI

India wicket-keeper MS Dhoni on Saturday reached another milestone and became the first Indian wicket-keeper to take 300 catches in One-Day Internationals. The former captain took the catches of England wicket-keeper batsman Jos Buttler and all-rounder Ben Stokes to reach the milestone.

Dhoni now stands fourth in the list of wicket-keepers with most catches in ODIs. Australia’s Adam Gilchrist (417), South Africa's Mark Boucher (402) and Sri Lanka's Kumar Sangakkara (383) hold the top three spots respectively.

Dhoni, fondly known as Mr. Cool by fans, also holds the records for most stumpings and most catches in T20 Internationals. He joined the exclusive club of wicket-keepers with 300 catches in 320 ODIs.
