MITHALI RAJ BECOMES FIRST INDIAN CRICKETER TO SCORE 2000 T20I RUNS

Mithali Raj became the first Indian cricketer to score 2000 runs in T20 International. Raj is currently the world's seventh woman to achieve this feat. The list is reportedly led by former England captain Charlotte Edwards, who has hit 2605 runs.
Raj is also the leading run-scorer in women's ODI with 6373 runs.
Raj reportedly achieved the feat on Thursday during the India vs Sri Lanka match in the ongoing Women's Asia Cup T20. She went past Virat Kohli, who had a record score of 1983.
