Australia's new captain Tim Paine after suffering a series defeat 3-1 against South Africa in Wanderers Stadium on Tuesday spoke to the media and said the ball-tampering scandal had a huge effect on the performance of the team. "Mentally we weren't quite there. You only have to be slightly off in any game of cricket, let alone (against) a team as good as South Africa, and you get exposed," he said.
