TWO MAJOR ISSUES THAT PLAYED MAJOR ROLE IN INDIA'S LOSS AGAINST ENGLAND!

In the 38th match of ICC World Cup 2019, India took on England at Egdbaston on Sunday. India remained the only unbeaten team up until now. England needed to win to retain their team and their victory means doom for Pakistan.

England won the toss and elected to bat. Though Indian bowlers established themselves in the past two games, this game became a nightmare. However, in the 11th over, Hardik Pandya bowled a shortish delivery down the leg side and Aleem Dar adjudged it wide. Kohli didn't appeal for DRS, However, UltraEdge showed that the ball had taken a spike off Roy's gloves on its way to Dhoni's hands.

Jason Roy eventually fell at 66 to a stupendous catch by Ravindra Jadeja off Kuldeep Yadav's delivery. However, it gave a stable opening for England and they went on to score 337.

While fielding, Indian opener KL Rahul, in the 16th over, when Jonny Bairstow hit a ball fell down with some impact while trying to catch the ball. He was attended in the drink break and was told not good to continue. However, he returned back to open for India. But he went for a duck and gave India a weak base to build.

Even Rohit's century didn't help India as they lost to England by 31 runs. Dhoni, who was criticized for his strike rate, played well this match. Kohli scored half century again in the match.

If only these things hadn't happened, the game would have ended much differently.
