After brief interruption due to rain, the match was continued. While bowling the 5th over, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar got injured while bowling the 4th ball so he went back to the pavillion and Vijay Shankar was asked to bowl the remaining over.

Vijay who came in as a replacement for Dhawan after he got injured, bowled his first ball of World Cup after Bhuvi left due to injury. What was surprising was he took the wicket of Imam ul-Haq in the very first delivery.

He is the first Indian bowler to do so in World Cup cricket. Kohli who was seen having a very emotional time in field being very expressive, gave a priceless reaction to the wicket.
