While Indian skipper Virat Kohli is prepped up for the West Indies tour, the speculated rift between Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli has been doing rounds on the social media. A few days back, there was an uproar among the cricket fans tracing Rohit Sharma’s Instagram account where he had unfollowed the Indian Skipper and his spouse Anushka Sharma later.
The reports also suggest the speculated conflict arose after India’s World Cup loss in the semi-finals against New Zealand. Finally, the Indian Captain has broken the silence over the much-talked controversy. The NDTV report has quoted Virat Kohi saying, “It's baffling to read such stuff. I will tell you something, if I don't like a person, you will see it on my face, I have always praised Rohit Sharma, its baffling, don't know who's benefited with all these rumours”.
Virat also expressed about the way he treats the players in the team including the senior MS Dhoni. "Come and see how we talk to Kuldeep Yadav, how we respect our seniors like MS Dhoni," Kohli added while the head coach Ravi Shastri was also present by his side. Ravi Shastri dismissed the rumours saying there will be no non-sense allowed since no one is greater than anybody in the team.
