Indian opening batsman KL Rahul has revealed a unique batting practice technique that he had learnt from South African star AB De Villiers during their time at Royal Challengers Banglore. In a video posted by the Indian cricket team on its official Facebook page, Rahul is seen using a single stump in his hand instead of a bat and faces a few balls so that he can improve his timing when he goes out to bat. Rahul explains that the stump relatively is relatively thin and has a smaller surface area when compared to a regular bat, and when he gets to meet the ball properly, there are more chances of him middling the ball while using the bat.
