KEDAR JADHAV HOLDS 'NOT SO HAPPY' IPL RECORD AFTER SCORING 7 RUNS OFF 12 BALLS
Home > News Shots > SportsChennai Super Kings (CSK) batsman Kedar Jadhav was brutally trolled on social media after his innings of 7 off 12 balls in CSK’ 10-run defeat to Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in Abu Dhabi.
During the match on Wednesday, Jadhav, who was sent ahead of Ravindra Jadeja and Dwayne Bravo, failed to perform on the field.
Ever since the match has taken place, Jadhav's performance and involvement in the team has become a big question to fans. However, Jadhav has unknowingly associated himself with a stat he will not be too proud of.
As per a Hindustan Times report, Jadhav has now faced the most balls (59) in IPL 2020, without hitting a six. He who has played all six matches for CSK in IPL 2020, has put up scores of 22, 26, 3 and most recently 7, but not once has Jadhav cleared the boundary.
Looking at the list there are other players too who are yet to hit a six in the IPL 2020 so far. After Jadhav, there is Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) batsman Glenn Maxwell, then comes Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) Kane Williamson, who has gone 54 balls without hitting a six, while Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) captain Dinesh Karthik too has also failed to connect a six in the 48 deliveries he’s faced so far in the tournament.
Even Murali Vijay and Robin Uthappa have also shown low performance with the bat. Taking a look at the stats for them both, Vijay and Uthappa have scored boundaries, but they haven’t hit a single hit over the ropes till now.
