Home > News Shots > SportsIn a women's U-19 domestic one-day match, Kashvee Gautam, captain of Chandigarh team shocked the crowd and teammates after achieving a rare feat by taking all 10 wickets. The match was played between Chandigarh and Arunachal Pradesh in Kadapa at KSRM College Ground on Tuesday.
Kashvee Gautam, has proudly registered her name in the record book after claiming 10 wickets during the match. Surprisingly, she returned with the figures of 10/12 in her 4.5 overs which also included a hat-trick in her second over.
Despite having good bowling skills, Kashvee impressed everyone with her batting by scoring 49 off 68 balls, which helped Chandigarh to totally put up a 186/4 in 50 overs score. She became the first Indian bowler to take all 10 wickets in a limited-overs match.
This news went viral after the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) took to social media and informed cricket fans about Kashvee's rare achievement. They captioned it saying, "Kashvee Gautam 10 WICKETS! (4.5-1-12-10), Arunachal Pradesh 25/10 #U19Oneday."
During the match, it became difficult for Arunachal Pradesh to catch up with the score. They could only make 25/10 and suffered a huge 161-run defeat.
According to News18 report, Anil Kumble is the only Indian cricketer, who took all 10 wickets against Pakistan in a Test match in New Delhi in 1999. Watch Kashvee Gautam's massive achievement below:
