In a bizarre case, South Africa fast bowler Kagiso Rabada has been banned from the fourth Test against England after his celebration of Joe Root's wicket. He was punished by officials on the field.
During the match, Rabada took the wicket after bowling the England captain for 27 on day one of the third Test. After taking the wicket, the bowler stopped just in front of him as he pumped his fists and shouted in celebration.
As per Daily Mail report, Zimbabwean official Andy Pycroft punished the bowler with a level one breach of the International Cricket Council's disciplinary code.
According to law, the breach relates to 'using language, actions or gestures that could provoke an aggressive reaction during an international match, Daily Mail further reports.
The punishment did not end there, Rabada was also fined 15 per cent of his match fee. Watch the video below:
