VIDEO: CSK CRICKETER JOSH HAZLEWOOD REVEALS NAME OF INDIAN PLAYER HE TARGETS TO MANKAD
Home > News Shots > Sports'Mankad' dismissal has always been in the news and the only cricketer who's name has been attached to it was none other than R. Ashwin. Recently, Josh Hazlewood of Australia revealed name of Indian cricketer he wants to 'mankad'.
Hazlewood said that he would want to 'Mankad' Cheteshwar Pujara when the player comes to visit Australia later this year. He opened up about his wish during a conversation that took place during Cricket Australia awards where David Warner and Ellyse Perry were honoured.
This question popped up after an Afghanistan bowler Noor Ahmad Lakanwal had Mankaded Pakistan batsman Mohammad Huraira in the ICC Under-19 World Cup recently.
So days after that incident, Australian women’s cricketer Meg Lanning and Hazlewood were asked about their opinion on the issue. To which Mag Lanning said “I hope I don’t find myself in that situation.” While Josh Hazlewood said; “I reckon I’ll save that one for the next time at Pujara.”
In the IPL 2019 season, Ravichandran Ashwin had dismissed England wicketkeeper-batsman Jos Buttler during KXIP vs Rajasthan Royals match. Soon after which, he was criticised on social media.
