JOFRA ARCHER SHARES A MESSAGE FOR CHRIS GAYLE AFTER DISMISSING HIM ON 99; POST GOES VIRAL!
Home > News Shots > SportsThe 41-year-old, Chris Gayle is ageing like a fine wine as his performance in the IPL shows absolutely no signs of slowing down.
At an age when most cricketers think of retiring, Gayle is busy scoring runs on the field. In the recent match against Rajasthan Royals (RR), the Kings XI Punjab star once again showed that age is just a number after he made a scintillating 99-run knock.
He faced 63 balls in the innings and hit six fours and eight sixes.
During the game, when Gayle needed 8 runs in the final over to complete a well-deserved ton he got dismissed by Jofra Archer. It was at that time, when Gayle was looking all set to complete his first century of the season.
Post the match in Abu Dhabi, Jofra Archer took to social media and hailed Chris Gayle. Even after winning the game on the field, Archer admitted that Chris Gayle was “still the boss”.
Talking about the game, the Royals showed another stunning batting display to chase down 185 runs. Ben Stokes, Steve Smith and Jos Buttler gave Royals a flying start and finished the game for their side. They will next lock horns with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in their final league match.
