Chennai Super Kings batting coach Michael Hussey reportedly said that the top order batsman Murali Vijay has almost recovered from his injuries and will be available to be picked in the team.
Hussey revealed that the opener suffered an injury to his ribs during one of the practice sessions. He also added that Vijay is slowly working on his fitness and he might be picked up for the game against KKR on Tuesday.
"He(Vijay) is fine, he is ready to go. He is certainly available to be picked," Hussey said.
As Kedar Jadhav dropped out of the IPL, Murali Vijay’s will be the perfect replacement at the top.
