IPL 2018: PANT’S DASHING CENTURY RESCUES COLLAPSING DD TO POST COMPETITIVE TOTAL

Delhi Daredevils set a target of 188 runs against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 42nd Indian Premier League match at Feroz Shah Kotla ground in Delhi on Thursday. While the team continued to lose wickets one by one, wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant singlehandedly rescued the team to post the competitive target. DD scored 187 runs losing five wickets at the end of 20 overs.
Pant scored his maiden IPL century off just 56 balls to become the second youngest to score an IPL hundred, only behind Manish Pandey. 20-year-old Pant scored 128 runs off just 63 balls. He also became the youngest to bring up 1000 runs in the Indian Premier League.
