IPL 2018: CSK officially qualified for the playoffs

Chennai Super Kings qualified for the playoffs after Rajasthan Royals secured a massive win over the defending champions Mumbai Indians on Sunday. With 18 points, SRH was the first team to qualify for the playoffs, making CSK the second team to qualify so far. Earlier in the day, CSK defeated table toppers SRH by eight-wickets.

 


By entering the 2018 playoffs, CSK became the only team to enter the knockout stages of the IPL for the ninth time. CSK didn't make it to the playoff during the 2016 & 2017 season as they were suspended during those years.
